Across all of our Vinnies WA services – homelessness, mental health and housing, as well as our emergency assistance and financial counselling programs and youth engagement hubs, we provide a person-centred approach, delivering our services in non-judgemental way, treating people with respect irrespective of their presenting issues, ensuring they are supported to achieve their life goals.

By offering a holistic approach to care, Vinnies tailors individual support plans to the needs of each of our clients, building their potential to move forward in their life.

We provide clients with a safe and secure environment, work in partnership to help improve their ability to engage with services and agencies, and support individuals and families on their journey to reaching their goals.

Homelessness services

Homelessness services

Vinnies Homelessness Services provide marginalised and at-risk youth and adults with a safe and positive place to access support services. Our unique models successfully reduce barriers faced by people with challenges or high needs to access a level of support which they may not usually be able to access.
emergency assistance

emergency assistance

Volunteers known as Vinnies Members respond to requests from people in need in their local communities by providing emergency assistance such as food, clothing, household goods, help with utilities and referrals, advocacy, friendship and emotional support.
Financial Counselling

Financial Counselling

Our financial counsellors provide independent information, advice and advocacy for people in financial difficulty. Our financial counsellors work with clients to achieve positive financial outcomes, helping them to build their own capacity to avert financial crisis and reduce stress.

Vinnies Housing Plus Program provides a variety of medium-term housing options for families and young people in the greater Perth and Mandurah area who face barriers accessing housing and have the capacity to meet tenancy responsibilities.

Our service provides accommodation for people with a persistent and enduring mental health diagnosis, offering specialised support so they can make informed choices about their recovery journey and reconnect with family and the community, whilst building their capacity and confidence.

Our Youth Engagement Hubs provide a safe space for at-risk youth to access support. We also encourage and support school advocacy groups to connect student core learning outcomes with meaningful experiences focused on social justice issues whilst thinking innovatively about how to provide much-needed support and assistance to people in need.
