Fundraising your way is easy! To get your Vinnies fundraising activity started, please complete the application form below.

Once your application has been approved, you will be notified by email with a direct link to your fundraising event page.

Commonly Asked Questions

What can I do to fundraise?

Host a fun run, spin-a-thon, bake-off, host a gold coin casual clothes day or PJ day, run a movie marathon or ask for donations in lieu of a birthday or wedding gift. Whatever fundraiser you choose, you’ll be making a positive difference in the lives of those in need.

Who is responsible for the legal compliance of the event?

The event host is solely responsible for the legal compliance and safety of the event. More information can be found in the Terms and Conditions

Can Vinnies provide a speaker for my event?

Depending on availability we may be able to provide a speaker. To enquire about a speaking engagement please email us at fundraising@svdpwa.org.au

Can I fundraise by selling items?

Yes, you can fundraise by running a bake sale, sausage sizzle or something similar and donate the money raised by making a direct deposit. Please note that tax-deductible receipts cannot be issued for sales.

How do donors receive tax deductible receipts?

When people make donations online they will automatically receive a tax-deductible receipt. If cash donors would like a receipt please record their details on the Cash Donation Summary Form. Once we receive their donation and the form we will issue the donor a receipt.

Can our offline fundraising be added to our online total?

Yes! Once we receive the bank deposit from your fundraising we can add the offline amount to your fundraising page total.

How private are your fundraising pages?

To help protect children’s online presence we have made all School Sleepout fundraising pages private. Participants can still share a link or QR code to their page directly with their supporters.

Please note that our Community Sleepout, Fundraise Your Way and Event pages are public and have an option that allows the user to set their page to private.
